What was the Father’s purpose in giving His beloved Son to die a violent death upon a Roman cross? What did His sacrificial death do? Reconciliation is a biblical term used to describe a change of attitude and relationship between an offended and the offending parties. In the text before us today, the Apostle refers to Jesus’ death as bringing about the reconciliation. Is this idea of reconciliation important to our faith?
